New Flash!!!

0 min read
I just bought a new speedlight for my setup. I decided to go with the Bower SFD926N speedlight. Similar features to the Nikon SB600 but for about $100 less. I can't wait for it to show up in the mail!

New Remote!

0 min read
So I was chatting with my brother the other day and he mentioned that his friend just bought a remote for his camera so he could do long exposures at night. I thought, that's genius! Why haven't I bought one of these miraculous little devices yet? If i don't touch the camera at all (even on a tripod) there can't be any camera shake, and the result will be crystal clear shots. But how much does one of these little miracle devices cost? The answer is $25. I couldn't believe it was so cheap! So I bought one and now have a mission to do as many long exposures as possible to fully field test this little gizmo. Hopefully I can get some awesome shot

stuck!

so winter is here, and I feel like i've hit the proverbial wall in terms of actually going and taking pictures. i've been so busy with work and school and everything else in my life that grabbing my camera hasn't even entered my head in quite some time. hopefully sometime within the next week or two i'll feel inspired enough to go and find something that interests me.
